प्रदेश सरकार के घोषणा की वरीयता वाली योजना के तहत आज मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव लखनऊ में 595 मेधावियों को लैपटॉप बाटेंगे। इसमें यूपी बोर्ड के साथ ही आइसीएसई तथा सीबीएसई के विद्यार्थी भी लाभांवित होंगे। मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव आज शाम चार बजे संगीत नाट्य अकादमी के संत गाडगे प्रेक्षागृह, गोमतीनगर में वर्ष 2014 में हाईस्कूल और इंटरमीडिएट की परीक्षाओं में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले 594 मेधावी छात्र-छात्राओं को लैपटॉप बांटेंगे। इस कार्यक्रम में यूपी बोर्ड, सेंट्रल बोर्ड ऑफ सेकेंड्री एजुकेशन (सीबीएसई) व इंडियन सर्टिफिकेट ऑफ सेकेंड्री एजुकेशन (आइसीएसई) की हाईस्कूल व इंटरमीडिएट परीक्षाएं उत्तीर्ण करने वाले मेधावियों को लैपटॉप मिलेंगे। यूपी बोर्ड की हाईस्कूल परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण 275 व इंटरमीडिएट पास 265 मेधावियों को लैपटॉप प्रदान किए जाएंगे। सीबीएसई की हाईस्कूल व इंटरमीडिएट परीक्षाएं उत्तीर्ण करने वाले 20-20 विद्यार्थियों को लैपटॉप दिए जाएंगे। आइसीएसई की हाईस्कूल व इंटरमीडिएट परीक्षाएं उत्तीर्ण करने वाले सात-सात मेधावियों को सरकार लैपटॉप का उपहार देगी।

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr Akhilesh Yadav has said that the state government had rolled out many a schemes for the welfare of the poor, farmers, downtrodden and the marginalized sections of the society and pointed out that the financial year 2015-16 was being observed as the ‘Year of the Farmers’.
He further added that the state government was extending all possible support and help to the farmers under which not only has the accidental insurance for farmers has been increased but large scale compensation has also been given to them in wake of the unseasonal rains and hailstorm.
The Chief Minister was today addressing local journalists at Jihrawa village in Khaga tehsil of district Fatehpur wherein he also informed that from the coming July boy and girl students of government schools, where mid-day meal is being given, will be provided milk once a week. He also announced that in wake of the heartening results of the Akshay Patra scheme, it would be extended to other districts as well.
The CM also announced that construction of a bridge over Yamuna river in Kishanpur would be undertaken soon. Praising the digging in the Thithaura Lake, Mr. Yadav said the state governmentwas seriously working on an action plan to promote tourism and maximum utilisation of natural resources.
He also said that development unleashed by Samajwadi government had no parallels. Laying of roads, construction of bridges, power, water, education and health sectors had made giant strides in the past three years and benefits of these were coming to the people of the state. He further informed that under the Lohia Housing Scheme, poor in the rural areas were being given solar light equipped houses.
Arrangements have also been made to replace transformers within 72-hours. The Chief Minister said that the state government had also started a social security scheme – Samajwadi Pension, for the weaker sections, from its own financial resources. This would benefit 45 lakh poor families. The state government was also giving employment to the youth and very soon 40,000 new recruitments would be undertaken in the police as also in other departments.
Mr. Yadav also warned officers against any laxity in development works and directed them to listen and address the problems faced by the common people. Any complaint received by the government would be acted upon, the Chief Minister further stated.
Earlier, the Chief Minister attended the ’tilak’ function at former legislator Mr. Veeran Yadav’s place. Also present on the occasion were MLC Mr. Naresh Uttam, legislator Mr. Madan Gopal Verma, former MP Mr. Rakesh Sachan, other poeple’s representatives, officers of the district administration and the state government.
